In the interests of transparency, are you able to share if you are doing this on behalf of another group / organisation, or whether you are simply a local who is passionate about where they live? The ‘we’ of the newsletter is in fact just me – I have lived in Kingston for almost 25 years and, yes, I’m simply passionate about the town and want to share interesting stories from around the borough (and some from further afield). I have created a database of about 100 local, national and international sources including media, community groups, NGOs and, yes, charities. I am more than happy to receive details of news and events that you feel would be of interest to residents of the borough. Please feel free to get in touch. I aim to publish weekly, roughly around Thursday evenings (unless my day job gets in the way!).
